Ellen had a hilarious talk with her old friend Gladys on Monday. They chatted about the price of gas, “American Idol,” politics, and how we should rename April 15th “The Season Finale.” Sorry about the first one, it didnt work…

Yes, the guy who does Gladys’ voice is pretty good. He does radio commercials too, though I haven’t heard anything new from him recently.

Sorry, I didn’t see your question, but, yeah, Gladys is a male. He’s from Austin and used to appear at a comedy club there. Maybe he still does…I haven’t checked it out lately. He has a myspace which is connected to the official Gladys myspace. He’s in his forties, I think, so it’s pretty hilarious that he can do his voice like that. By the way, his name is Scott Hardy.
